A family-run British watch company that can proudly trace its history back 170 years. Between 1846 and the late 1950's quality watches leaving the city of Bristol proudly bore the name FEARS on their dial. First established on Redcliff Street by Edwin Fear, the company was restarted by his great-great-great-grandson, Nicholas Bowman-Scargill.
170 Years of Design
Having lay dormant for 60 years, FEARS today produces high quality wrist watches, each individually numbered. They are designed in Britain using carefully selected elements from the company’s extensive heritage before being manufactured in Switzerland, just as they had been for a hundred years before.
