The military watch of choice
Established in Switzerland as the Weinsturm Watch Co at the turn of the 20th Century, Morris Wein moved to Canada in 1939 where he founded Marathon watches. Despite this move, Marathon watches are still crafted in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.
In 1941, Marathon began manufacturing for the Allied Forces. During the first Gulf War the US army sent out an urgent request for a true military-grade watch. Enter Marathon, already a tried and trusted supplier. For their extensive service, Marathon became the military watch of choice and are now standard issue for the US Marine Corps, NASA, and The Canadian Armed Forces. For the first time Marathon watches are available to the public and Page and Cooper are proud to have been appointed the sole UK authorised supplier.
