So I've just bought the brushed version of the Squalematc. I chose the brushed for 2 reasons. 1. I love the orange accents. 2. In my opinion polished cases show the lumps and bumps of life more than brushed steel. I recently sold a Breitling Transocean and this is the replacement. I was a little worried that I might be disappointed with a watch just 1/6th of the value. They can't really be compared as they are so, so different in style. But I'm not in the least bit disappointed. The watch is 1mm bigger than the b'ling but wears quite small in a way. I have big wrists (8.25"). And this leads to my only criticism. All of the Squale straps (I have 2 leather and the mesh) are short. The leather ones are on the last hole so the straps fall short of the second keeper. P&C kindly gave me 4 (yes 4) extra links for the mesh bracelet which is on the watch now and looks incredible and cures the "wears small" comment. I'm not going to review the watch piece by piece. There are plenty of professional reviews out there. So, the watch is great, really great but even better is the amazing customer service i have received from P&C (Josh). Yes i would definately recommend Squale and more so following the service l have just received i am now a P&C promoter.
